BDM file is associated with AVCHD format. This format is used for recording and playback of high definition video data. Mostly this format is used by camcorders to record videos.

When a video is recorded in this format there are some other files also which are created and BDM files are one of them. BDM files contain information about the video file. Generally there are two files with BDM extension that are created along with the video file. The first one is INDEX.BDM. This file contains the index information about the video file. The second file is MOVIEOBJ.BDM. This file is used to store video description.

1. Incorrect version of the installed application
